BEACH DAYZ | Marbella Day 2

So these Spain posts have been waaaaaay too drawn out but hey better late than never (a saying that I saw way too much). My logic is that now that it's getting colder into winter months these Marbella posts will act as a nice contrast to the darker colder evenings that are too come....even though I really like it when it gets colder and darker. Am I weird? Actually don't answer that.

Jazz and Trilbys | Edinburgh Day 2

Hello friends~ how's your summer treating ya?

I really need to make a habit of allocating blogger time because its becoming an afterthought due to sixth form summer work which I have kind of neglected oops...

Hoping you all are having a fab time doing what your doing this summer, and maybe I will get to share what I've done with you all fully once I get my butt into gear and actually write some regular blog posts. It's all going to be ancient history by the time its up, ahhh but it will all be worth it right?

In current news, I'm staying with my best friend down in Dorset for a week. Well, technically its been a week already but long story short there was a poisonous snake bite incident which ended up in that person being hospitalised for a few days and what not. I mean,  don't panic or anything! all is good now and they are back home with all be it a massive-not very attractive bruise on their leg but hey at least it gave me more time with my bestie~

Eploring Edinburgh | Day 1

Hey everybody!

wow it feels like it's been ages...

wait it has been ages, I haven't posted in two weeks! yikes sorry about that~

Obviously I have missed you all and I've missed blogging, I guess Ive just been caught up in the whole moving process thing (although I personally haven't really done that much) I think its more me galavanting off being a little social bee to be honest which is really quite unusual for me. Ive seen this summer holiday to be an opportunity to cram in as much things as possible, not that I did that on purpose at all to avoid helping with the move. No really I didn't do that at aaaaaall...

Ive realised that I still haven't posted all of the Marbella photos yet, ahhh I need to step up my game here. They are soon to come for sure but I thought I would share some more recent holiday photos. I recently went on a trip with good ol' grandma to Edingburgh for a city break as a treat for finishing school I guess? I dunno but it was a cute gesture right?! ^^ I had never been to Scotland before so it was exciting to visit somewhere new.

Dining in the Alps

As you may or may not know I was skiing in France over the christmas period, it was such an amazing time and I'm already counting down the days unit I can next go back! Aside from the skiing and general awesomeness that is Val d'Isere, did I mention that the food is another major highlight? By far one of the best things about skiing holidays is the food (ી(΄◞ิ౪◟ิ‵)ʃ)

Basically this is like a photo diary of just some of the yummy noms I had when I was over there, and don't be fooled just because it was christmas- the food is generally always like this (apart from the christmas dinner of course ( •ॢ◡-ॢ)) Please enjoy a few snaps of the desserts, restaurant food and an abundance of afternoon teas~

Christmas in Val d'Isere

Bonjour ~ (-^〇^-)
Happy new year for 2015!
I'm back from France now after our awesome christmas away skiing in Val d'Isere and I have to admit... I'm already missing it so much. I just love skiing and the food and the skiing and the town and the shops and the everything. Although it was magical and all and we actually had snow over christmas unlike being in the UK, the christmasy vibes just went there. Maybe it's just the fact that we were away from home and it's the only thing were used to but you know what, I really didn't mind- I actually enjoyed it more than the typical christmas day we would normally have at home.

Don't get me wrong, I love christmas day at home too but to be honest when it gets to the evening we have eaten and already opened presents and I'm left feeling a bit.. bored. In France, it was full on day skiing for about 6 hours, having afternoon tea in the chalet, opening presents and having a drink at the bar and then having christmas dinner later on in the evening.
Then after that we even went out to a bar in the town and stayed out till about 2am, we met some and talked with new people and even hung out with the chalet staff that were working in the chalet. For me it was a memorable christmas and one that I would totally do again!

Although, did I mention that we were stuck on a coach for 22 hours? yeahhh for those of you in the UK who saw the news about the shed load of snow that caused problems in the Alps...yep that was us. We weren't quite as bad as those who had to be sent to emergency accommodation but we would've been sent there if we hadn't of been stuck on that coach for so long! we made a joke out of it and said that the coach was our emergency accommodation...
Basically making your way down a snowy icy mountain in a coach with vehicles coming the other way as well doesn't work out, there was also a coach incident too which didn't really help the process of getting down. After being told that the coach would not be moving for 3 hours (10 minutes into the journey may I add) me and mum went off with a few others to find a loo and get food rations. *That is one downside of being a woman, men can easily pee standing up where we have to resort to popping squats outside the coach. I personally can't do that so we went to find a loo (•ิ_•ิ)
After walking down the hill we hallelujah! found a loo in a restaurant and ordered two ham baguettes for the journey, we even snuck in a sneaky hot chocolate before I head out to a convenience store to buy chocolate, waffles and cookies to for some snackage on the coach.
Overall, we worked out that our flight was 24 hours later than intended because we had to get a new flight booked and at a different airport... but as I said it was still an amazing holiday and it all seems like a dream what happened (mainly because we were up all night and sleep deprived). If I learned anything from this, it is that coach seats = UNCOMFORTABLE (☍﹏⁰)。

Here are some snaps I took in Val of the town, there aren't as many photos of the mountains as id like but it was hard fitting my camera in my ski jacket pocket (>o<) there are a lot of foodie photos though so I decided to save those for another post (´⊙ω⊙`)

oh and incase you were wondering, yes santa claus did visit even in France (^_~)

This is basically what the setup for lunch look like on the slopes- helmet threw on the table, coat strung over the chair and some sort of sandwich baguette with a filling
The mountains that surround Val d'Isere~ nightie snapshot

Seafood selection in SPAR- yes spar (convenience stores in France majorly upgraded)

SUMMER IN ITALY | PISA

So Summer holidays are over, back at school and revision begins.

What better way to make myself feel better than to reminice about some amazing holidays that have been and gone.

Although, when I first started this blog it was my intention to write about my travels. I don't know about you but I love reading blogs about travelling. The whole 'Great places to eat' or "Must see attractions' are my type of reads and I would love to be able to show you my adventures and share  my recommendations(*^3^)/~♡

Oh and that reminds me! Iv'e decided to start a new # on the blog called 'TBH' (not 'To Be Honest') since on Instagram their is a # for Throw Back, I thought I would call these posts 'Throw Back Holiday' -(๑☆‿ ☆#)ᕗ

In the summer of 2013, me and my mum were lucky enough to be invited to a villa in Italy owned by one of our good friends. It was a lovely villa in the heart of Tuscany in an area called Certaldo.

Tiramisu gelato- because you have to eat this while your in Italy

The view from the Villa- look at those vineyards!

Stay tuned for more posts on my Italy adventure!

48 hours in Belgium

Goeiendag! (which is hello in Flemish btw...I totally did not just google it) Starting a Blog has been toying on my mind for a while now but I am such a huge procrastinator that it has not happened until now. But my recent trip to Bruges in Belgium has really encouraged me to start writing this blog.

I have not really decided what kind of blog this is (in terms of labelling it a 'fashion' or 'travel' blog etc) , but what I do know is that there will be ALOT of food-ography going on here (which I doubt anyone will complain). I'm into my travelling and as you can probably guess from the name of the blog, I like love breakfast (well food in general to be fair...)

Capturing a good snap shot of some of my foodie experiences has become a sort of hobby to me, so much so that when I had to write down my hobbies for a draft CV in my 'skills for life' lesson I wrote 'Food Photography'... I am not ashamed

Hence forth let the photo bombardment begin! I saved the best foodie photos till the very end because they are by far the best and should be the last thing that is embedded in your mind (I guarantee whatever the time of day it is, these photos will make you hungry and leave you dribbling on your keyboard)  (。・ω・)ノ゙
